Our community
StreamVerse Connect is built for creators, developers, studios, and community members who want to connect around games, campaigns, collaboration, and creator opportunities.
These guidelines explain the behavior we expect across StreamVerse Connect, including profiles, community spaces, messages, public pages, campaign features, and other social areas of the platform.
StreamVerse Connect is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Being 18+ does not remove the need to treat other people with respect or to follow applicable law.
These guidelines also apply to StreamVerse Community, the chat built into StreamVerse Connect. Log in with your StreamVerse Connect account to participate and read #rules before posting. Use #general for general discussion, #creators for creator topics and #developers for game development. Site admins may make channels read-only; only admins can post in those channels.
Respect other people
You do not have to agree with everyone, but you do need to interact in a way that does not make the platform hostile or unsafe.
- Do not repeatedly insult, shame, or target another user.
- Do not deliberately provoke people for reactions or pile-ons.
- Do not encourage others to harass or dogpile someone.
- Do not use community features to intimidate or humiliate people.
- Do not repeatedly contact someone who has clearly asked you to stop.
Criticism of ideas, games, campaigns, or public work is allowed. Personal abuse and targeted harassment are not.
Harassment, hate, and targeted abuse
Do not attack, demean, or exclude people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or similar protected traits.
Slurs, dehumanizing content, targeted hateful abuse, and calls for discrimination or violence are not allowed.
Context matters. Quoting harmful language for reporting, education, or criticism is different from using it to attack another person, but moderation may still remove content when context is unclear or the material creates harm.
Threats, intimidation, and safety
Do not threaten violence, serious harm, stalking, swatting, blackmail, or other dangerous behavior.
Do not encourage or coordinate actions intended to frighten, endanger, or physically harm another person.
Credible threats or serious safety concerns may result in immediate account action and may be reported to relevant authorities where appropriate.
Impersonation and deceptive identity
Do not pretend to be another creator, developer, studio, StreamVerse staff member, public figure, or other person in a way that could mislead others.
Parody and fan accounts should be clearly identifiable as such. You may not use someone else's identity to scam users, obtain access, damage a reputation, or falsely claim an affiliation.
Spam, scams, fraud, and malicious content
Do not use StreamVerse Connect to spam users or distribute deceptive, fraudulent, or malicious material.
- Do not send repetitive unsolicited promotions or mass messages.
- Do not run phishing attempts or fake login pages.
- Do not distribute malware, credential-stealing files, or malicious links.
- Do not create fake giveaways, fake campaigns, or fake sponsorship offers.
- Do not use false information to trick users into sending money, keys, credentials, or personal information.
- Do not manipulate platform metrics or engagement through deceptive means.
Privacy, doxxing, and personal information
Do not publish, threaten to publish, or encourage others to publish another person's private information without permission.
This includes information such as private addresses, personal phone numbers, private email addresses, financial information, government identifiers, private login details, or other sensitive information that could put someone at risk.
Do not use StreamVerse Connect to stalk, locate, track, or intimidate another person.
Sexual and exploitative content
StreamVerse Connect is an 18+ service, but that does not mean all sexual content is appropriate for every area of the platform. Content that is exploitative, non-consensual, coercive, or posted to harass another person is not allowed.
Sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited. This includes sexual exploitation, grooming, sexualized imagery of minors, or any attempt to solicit or distribute child sexual abuse material. This rule applies regardless of intent or whether the content originated elsewhere.
Content that appears to involve the sexual exploitation of a minor may be removed immediately and may be reported to the appropriate authorities or services where required.
Illegal activity and harmful use
Do not use StreamVerse Connect to coordinate, promote, sell, distribute, or facilitate illegal activity.
This includes fraud, stolen credentials, unauthorized access, malicious software, unlawful trafficking, or other activity that violates applicable law.
StreamVerse Connect may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations or protect users and the service.
Platform abuse and moderation evasion
Do not interfere with StreamVerse Connect's systems or use the platform in ways intended to bypass normal rules or protections.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
- Do not exploit bugs to harm users or obtain access you should not have.
- Do not create alternate accounts to evade a suspension or restriction.
- Do not manipulate campaigns, rankings, applications, reactions, or community systems using bots or deceptive automation.
- Do not encourage others to evade moderation or enforcement.
If you discover a security issue, please report it privately to contact@streamverseconnect.com rather than exploiting or publicly disclosing it in a way that could put users at risk.
Moderation and enforcement
We try to respond proportionately to violations. The action taken depends on factors such as severity, context, previous violations, risk to other users, and whether the behavior appears intentional.
Possible actions include:
- Removing or limiting access to content.
- Issuing a warning.
- Temporarily restricting specific features.
- Temporarily suspending an account.
- Removing access to a community or campaign feature.
- Permanently terminating an account for serious or repeated violations.
Severe cases involving credible threats, exploitation, fraud, serious security abuse, or illegal activity may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
Reporting a problem
If you see content or behavior that appears to violate these guidelines, please report it so it can be reviewed.
Until a dedicated platform-wide reporting system is available, you can report serious concerns by emailing contact@streamverseconnect.com.
When possible, include the username involved, a link or screenshot, what happened, and any other information that helps explain the issue. Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Reviews and appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, you can contact contact@streamverseconnect.com and ask for the decision to be reviewed.
Include the account involved and a short explanation of why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. A review does not guarantee that the original action will be changed.
These guidelines may be updated as StreamVerse Connect adds new community features. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
